A 2023 achievement to be proud of
We are pleased that there were no accidents at the BIOVELA-UTENOS MĖSA plant in 2023!
With over 1,000 employees, this is a very significant achievement. We share the formula for successful, consistent work that has enabled us to achieve this result:
-Recording and monitoring of infringements. The whole team is involved in the process - we analyse the infringements and take action to ensure they don't happen again. The technical condition of equipment and facilities is constantly monitored to ensure not only the smooth running of operations, but also the safety of employees.
-Education and communication for employees is the path to success. We believe in this and are guided by it in our operations, which is why we continuously train our employees to prevent accidents. From the break rooms to the shop floor, employees are greeted with videos and other informative material on workplace safety.
-Interpersonal communication. We talk to employees about the risks they face in the workplace, what could be improved and what risks they see in their daily lives.
Our biggest victory is the well-being and health of our employees. We believe that through consistent work, we will maintain this excellent result.
